NFL: Week 11 Duds

Nick Foles

The rookie quarterback looked awful in his first game starting. He threw for 200 yards, but also tossed two interceptions. Also, Foles struggled with pocket presence as he was stripped three times. Luckily the Eagles were able to recover all three of those fumbles.

Matt Ryan

Matt Ryan has been putting up MVP like numbers. However, week 11 is a week he would like to forget. Against a struggling Arizona Cardinals team, Ryan threw five interceptions and zero touchdowns. The Falcons have the red-hot Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week 12. This game could change momentum in the NFC South.

Cleveland Browns Defense

Browns rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden, might have had his best game ever in his career against the Dallas Cowboys, but it was the defense of the Browns that blew it for the entire team. Not only did they allow the Cowboys to move down the field with 1:07 remaining to kick the game tying field goal, they also allowed the game winning field goal in overtime. I guess that is what you should expect from a 2-8 team.

Chicago Bears Defense

The number one ranked defense in the NFL got curb stomped by Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers. It was an awful outing by the offense as well, but they had Jason Campbell as their quarterback I’ll cut them some slack. Still, I bet Chicago will be happy that Cutler will be playing against the Minnesota Vikings, because the Green Bay Packers are right behind them.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Situation

Losing your starting quarterback is never a good thing for any NFL team. If you’re the Pittsburgh Steelers it is a really bad thing. You have Byron Leftwich and Charlie Batch. Now after an injury to Leftwich, you have Batch. Yikes!
