NFL: Week 15 Studs

Adrian Peterson

Adrian Peterson

If I was Eric Dickerson and Peyton Manning I’d be worried. First, let’s get to Peterson’s week 15 stats where he rushed for 212 yards on 24 carries, powering the Vikings to a 36-22 victory over St. Louis. With two weeks left in the season he only needs 294 yards to break Eric Dickerson’s single-season rushing yards record of 2,105. If that happens I’m guessing MVP goes to Peterson as well. Sorry Peyton.

Colin Kaepernick

Colin Kaepernick has the 49ers going forward heading into the playoffs and many now believe they are the favorite to go to the Super Bowl out of the NFC. In a potential Super Bowl preview against the New England Patriots, Kaepernick put up great numbers. He went 14-of-25, for 216 yards and four touchdowns. Also, he now has a rap about him. Check it out here.

Russell Wilson

Now winning three straight the Seattle Seahawks and Russell Wilson are on fire. Wilson once again had himself a day. He threw for 205 yards and a score, while also rushing for 92 yards and three touchdowns. Huge game for Seattle this week as they take on the 49ers.

J.J. Watt

After being shut down by the Patriots the week before, Watt showed up against the Indianapolis Colts. Watt had three sacks, a forced fumble and six tackles for loss in Houston’s 29-17 victory.

Atlanta Falcons

Is it time we all pay respect to the Atlanta Falcons? Maybe, but one thing is for sure Matt Ryan and the Falcons are really good at home. They showed how good they were this past Sunday as they got revenge on the defending Super Bowl champions, the New York Giants. They beat the Giants 34-0. If I had to choose, Falcons or the 49ers are my two favorites to win out of the NFC.
