NFL: Week 17 Duds

Tony Romo 1

Tony Romo

Maybe Tony Romo’s time in Dallas is coming to a close. Another late season disappointment from Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys. Romo threw three interceptions in a lost to the Washington Redskins.

Chad Henne

Chad Henne has had some good games and then some downright awful games. This was one of those awful games. Henne was picked off three times, two of which were returned for touchdowns.

Black Monday

Black Monday came and went. When the dust settled we saw seven coaches and five general managers fired. The list includes Norv Turner, Chan Gailey, Pat Shurmur, Romeo Crennel, Andy Reid, Lovie Smith and Ken Whisenhunt. Three coaches (Reid, Smith, Whisenhunt) led their teams to the Super Bowl. Out of all of the firings, Smith is surly the most surprising considering the Chicago Bears won 10 games this year, however, did fail to make the playoffs.
